Lois Ann Kincannon McGlauchlen, 82, passed away July 11, 2012 at Conroe Health Center in Conroe. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 13, 2012 at St. Peter''s Episcopal Church in Brenham, with burial to follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. Father Tom Wallace will officiate. The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday evening from 7 until 8 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Lois McGlauchlen was born July 27, 1929 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Jerry Frank and Dovie Mae Fletcher Kincannon. Survivors include son Mark McGlauchlen; daughters Linda McMillan and Rita Broeker and husband Doyle; brother, Jim Kincannon; grandchildren: Courtney McMillan and wife Tamie, Amy McMillan, Adam Broeker and wife Lee Ann, Casey Hayden and husband James, Scott McGlauchlen and wife Maricela; great-grandchildren: Sophia McMillan, Cash Hayden, Randy Villafranca, Aliyha, Nathaniel, and Emma McGlauchlen; nieces and nephews: Colleen Simrell and husband John, John Sullivan, and Erin Sullivan, and Wendy Kincannon. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Frank Kincannon, and her mother, Dovie Mae Fletcher, who died when Lois was two years old. Her stepmother, Mary Leora Hill, her sister, Doris Eileen Kincannon Sullivan, and her very close friend, Charlie Gouldson also preceded her in death, as well as nephews Jim and Joel Kincannon and Kevin Sullivan. Serving as pallbearers are Courtney McMillan, Adam Broeker, James Hayden, Scott McGlauchlen, and John Barry Sullivan. Lois was a member of St. Peter''s Episcopal Church in Brenham. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main, Brenham.
