Lois Thaler

Lois Haeber Thaler, 78, of Burton, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005 at her residence. Lois was born July 6, 1926, the daughter of Ernest and Liela Siebel Haeber. She was baptized October 27, 1946 in St. John''s Lutheran Church in Waller, Texas and was confirmed in the same. Lois was a school nurse for 20 years. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Billy D. and Susie Thaler of Brenham; daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie and Raymond Mueller of Brenham, Lois and Jerry Faigle of Waller; Laurie and Roger Jones of Lago Vista, Diane and Tom Rau of Columbus, Sherie Koudelka and Randy Jones of Moulton, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her parents and her sister, Mabel Westerman, preceded her in death. The funeral service for Lois Thaler was held at 2:00 pm Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005 in St. John''s United Church of Christ in Burton with Rev. Glen Schoeneberg officiating. Burial was in Prairie Lea cemetery. Pallbearers were Billy D. Thaler, Jr., Curt Faigle, Greg Faigle, Carl Faigle, Cheyne Solesbee, Adam Mueller, and Tyler Rau. Memorials: St. John''s United Church of Christ in Burton. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main, Brenham.
