Lola Eberhardt

Lola Jean Eberhardt, 81, of Burton, passed away Monday, Feb. 24, 2003, at Trinity Medical Center. Born Lola Jean Knittel to Emojene and Arnie Knittel, she married Lawrence Eberhardt on Dec. 25, 1939. Together they had one daughter, three sons, a daughter-in-law, and four grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son. Graveside services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in Rehburg at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 1. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Pallbearers will be Alfred Maas, Felix Kunkel, Edwin Harmel, Leon Dallmeyer, William Koerth and Herbert Korthauer. Honorary pallbearers will be Elfan Hinze, Arthur Kochwelp, Ben Hauerland, Rocky Knittel, Terrance Warmke, Tommy Avis, Edwin Harmel and Herbert Korthauer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Burton High School Memorial Scholarship Fund. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
