Long Ha

Long Ha, 79, of Brenham, TX, died on June 4, 2023.

A visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Andrew Hien Van Do officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Long was born on August 6, 1944 in Kontum, Vietnam to Thua and Sang Nguyen Ha. Long served as a Lieutenant for South Vietnam in the Vietnam War. He and his family moved to the United States in 1992.  They later moved to Brenham, TX in 1995 where he worked as an assembly line worker in the mattress manufacturing industry for over 20 years. Long was a loving husband to his wife Phung of 39 years and devoted father/grandfather to his children and grandchildren.

Long is survived by his wife, Phung Nguyen of Brenham, TX; sons and daughters-in-law, Tuan and wife Lucia Ha of St. Louis Missouri, Khoa and wife Ngoc Ha of St. Louis Missouri, Viet and wife Kate Ha of College Station, TX, Vu Ha and wife Madison Brown of Austin, TX, and Jimmy and wife Alandra Ha of Brenham, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Ho and wife Bong Ha of Vietnam; sisters, Bau Ha of Vietnam, and Ngoe Ha of Vietnam; grandchildren, Thi Ha, Kiet Ha, Andrew Ha, Lucy Ha, Thomas Ha, Lenox Ha, and Kairo Ha.

He is preceded in death by Thua Ha, Sang Nguyen, Huong Ha, Chi Ha, Hung Ha, and Nga Ha.

Pallbearers will be Vu Ha, Jimmy Ha, Viet Ha, Tuan Ha, Khoa Ha, and Khanh Nguyen.
