Lonie Mae Eickenhorst Murski, 75, widow of Julian C. Murski, died July 2, 2009 at Trinity Care Center. Mrs. Murski was born November 2, 1933 to Ben and Laura Loesch Eickenhorst in the William Penn Community of Washington County, and was both baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. On April 8, 1956, she married Julian C. Murski in St. Mary½s Catholic Church in Brenham. She was employed for many years as a waitress in the restaurant business. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Denise Murski of Chappell Hill; daughters and sons-in-law Elizabeth and David Wunderlich and Pat and Randy Klausmeyer, all of Brenham; grandchildren Cyndi and Russell Klausmeyer, Amy Klausmeyer, Kayla Klausmeyer, and Katie Murski; brothers and sisters-in-law Johnnie and Eloise Eickenhorst of Brenham; Glenn and Rose Eickenhorst of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Harold Eickenhorst of Brenham; sister and brother-in-law Gladys and Herbert Roemer of Carmine; sisters-in-law Martha Murski and Loyce Murray, both of Brenham; aunts Edna Loesch, Gladys Williams and Elene Faske. She is also survived by her special friends Sugar and Clarence Herzog, Mrs. Elsie Tegeler, and Darnell Surrett. Her parents, husband, Julian C. Murski, daughter Connie Murski, and brother Ben Eickenhorst, preceded her in death. . Funeral services for Lonie Mae Eickenhorst Murski will be held Monday, July 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary½s Catholic Church, with Father Bradford, officiant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. A Rosary will be celebrated at 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Msg. Zientek presiding. Serving as pallbearers are Jeff Key, Russell Klausmeyer, Larry Eickenhorst, Mark Eickenhorst, Cotton Finke, and Kenny Krueger. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary½s Catholic Church in Brenham or Hospice Brazos Valley. The family would also like to extend special thanks to Dr. Than, Trinity Care Center, and Hospice Brazos Valley. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W.
