Lori Lynn Schroeder, born June 1, 1967, left this world way too soon on Monday, November 13, 2017.
Lori is survived by her mother, Faye Stelter, her father, Al “Scooter” Schroeder and wife, Judee, and her sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne Schroeder Brown and Trey Brown. She was a proud aunt to her nephew, Hayden Brown, and a beloved niece to Debbie and Jack Fickessen and Ray and Sandy Stelter. Lori is also survived by her cousins, Shelley Hill, Chris Stelter, Jami Robinson, Chase Fickessen and their families. Lori’s “puppies,” Jack Henry and Norman Frank, adored her and gave her much joy and happiness. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mabel and Gussie Stelter, and Stella Mae and “Beanie” Schroeder.
Lori was a talented hair stylist. In addition to making her customers look and feel beautiful, she was also a dear friend and counselor. An hour spent in Lori’s chair was always an entertaining experience. Lori had a bubbly personality, a funny sense of humor, always loved to laugh and have a good time. She enjoyed watching sports and listening to all types of music—especially Country, R&B and Rock & Roll. She loved good food, cooking and, of course, a cold glass of wine or her favorite cocktail.
Although Lori struggled with many illnesses throughout the years, she faced them all with determination and grit. She was a true fighter who never gave up. Family was most important to Lori, especially her Mom and Dad, whom she spoke to every day. Her family will always love and forever miss her.
