Lorinda Delaughter

Lorinda Kaye DeLaughter, 68, joined her Lord and Savior on November 4, 2024. Lorinda was born on September 21, 1956 in Houston, Texas to George and Marie Hendrickson.

Lorinda loved so many things in this life, first and foremost, her family. She also loved singing worship songs to the Lord, decorating her home, remodeling and interior design, rehabilitating old furniture, her fur baby Sonny, shopping and laughing with her sister, and trips to the beach with her family. She loved to plan and cook for special events like birthdays and other celebrations, but most of all entertaining for the holidays.

Lorinda is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Roger DeLaughter, her children, Jonathan DeLaughter and Tiffany Cooper and her husband Dale, siblings Donna Morris and her husband Robert, her grandchildren, Jordan and Brooklyn Cooper and Colton DeLaughter. Also left to cherish her precious memory are Uncle Ray Morris, Cousin Tracey Morris and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Lorinda's life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church Chappell Hill located at 7675 FM 2447, Chappell Hill, Texas 77426.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel located at 1306 W. Main Street, Brenham, Texas 77833.
