Lorrayne Pankonien

Lorrayne Williams Pankonien, 83, of Brenham, wife of Lee Roy Pankonien, passed away Ocotber 1, 2008 in Trinity Medical Center. Mrs. Pankonien was born June 4, 1925 in Fort Worth, Texas to Coleman Jennings Williams and Kyrene Blanton Williams. She was baptized and confirmed in Ft. Worth. She received a B.A. from Baylor University. On June 12, 1948, she married Lee Roy Pankonien in First Methodist Church in Brenham. Mrs. Pankonien was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Lee Roy Pankonien of Brenham; sons and daughters-in-law Kyle and Laura Pankonien of Austin; Dean and Bronwyn Pankonien of Coppell; daughters and sons-in-law Julie and Walter Brignon of Katy; Lauralee Pankonien and Mark Schneider of Austin; sister and brother-in-law Judy and Paul Dorn of College Station; seven grandchildren: Nate Brignon, Andrew Brignon, Blake Pankonien, Leigh Pankonien, Ailie Pankonien, John Pankonien, and Michael Pankonien. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mildred Hill. Graveside services for Lorrayne Pankonien will be held Friday, October 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Prairie Lea Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Michael Pankonien, John Pankonien, Andy Brignon, Nate Brignon, J. C. Eldred, and Fred Seidel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W.
