Louis Frank Kenjura, Jr.

Louis Frank Kenjura, Jr., 78 passed away on December 31, 2023. 

Louis was born on Sept. 17, 1945 in Houston, Tx. to Louis Frank Kenjura and Lela Mae Hutchins Kenjura. He lived in Brenham until he was 13 years old. He grew up in Houston and served in the Marines during the Vietnam war. Louis was active and supported the VFW and DAV (Disabled Veterans).  He worked throughout his career in the trucking industry.

He married Ruth Kroeger on 3/13/1970.  They were blessed with 2 sons and 3 daughters, and many grandchildren.  He also had 3 sisters and enjoyed his nieces and nephews.

Louis is survived by his wife, Ruth, sons: Louis Kenjura III & Noelle Covington of Houston, Tx.; Sean Kenjura & Bonnie of Hudson Oaks, Tx.  along with daughters: Dawn & Ryan Kibbe of Katy, Tx.; Christina & Charles Brooks of Seabrook, Tx., Kathaleen & Steven Walton of Pearland, Tx. and sisters: Becky Ortiz and Cheryl Hutchins.

He was preceded in death by his parents- Louis & Lela Kenjura, and sister- Diane Bates.

Pallbearers will be: Louis F. Kenjura III, Sean Kenjura, Steven Walton, Charles Brooks, Jacob Hutchins, CK Brooks and Ryan Kibbe.  Honorary pallbearers will be: Rowan Brooks, Cal Kibbe and Kash Kenjura.

Visitation with family will be from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, January 7^th at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Rosary starting at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 8^th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial following at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to Cancer Research or Alzheimers Research.
