Louis Wilkerson

Louis Dean Wilkerson of Brenham, 63, husband of Margaret Wilkerson, passed away on September 11, 2008. Louis was born December 1, 1944 to Henry L. and Mary Maxwell Wilkerson in Detroit, Michigan. He was employed by Ford Motor Co. On May 8, 1967 he married Margaret Forster. Louis is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Ann Wilkerson of Kenton, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Kelly Betz of Whitelake, Michigan; father, Henry Wilkerson of Reading, Michigan; grandchildren, Evan Wilkerson, Noah Betz, and Mason Betz; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Joan Wilkerson of Reading, Michigan and Danny Wilkerson of Florida; sister, Janie Suchcara of Reading, Michigan; numerous nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law, Gladys Forster of Dearborn Heights, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Wilkerson. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 1:00 p.m. at Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, Sept. 15 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Memorials may be given to Hospice Brenham, 302 E. Blue Bell Rd., Brenham, TX 77833.
