Louise Schramme

Louise Matilda Wilhelmina (Buddenberg) Schramme, 94, widow of Charles Schramme, Jr., passed away May 3, 2017 in Brenham.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2017 at St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill, with Pastor Kyle Merkle officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday, May 6 at Memorial Oaks Chapel from 3 until 5 p.m.

Louise Schramme was born May 22, 1922 in the New Wehdem community of Washington County to William and Lydia Koester Buddenberg. She was baptized into the Lutheran faith on May 30, 1922.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Benita Schramme, and a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Rev. Dr. Alvin Luedke.

Also surviving are her grandchildren: Tomas Schramme and wife Kristen, Christopher Schramme and wife Megan, William Schramme, Garrett Schramme, and Katie Luedke, as well as nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Schramme was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Schramme, Jr.; parents, William and Lydia Buddenberg; sister and brother-in-law, Gladys and Clarence Niemeyer.

Serving as pallbearers are Gary Schramme, Tomas Schramme, Christopher Schramme, Will Schramme, Garrett Schramme, and Alvin Luedke.

Memorials may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill.
