Lucille Alma Koerth Eberhardt, 87, widow of Armond "Nooky" Eberhardt, died November 6, 2012 in Gazebo Terrace Convalescent Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg, with Pastor Denise Seymour officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Foehner Funeral Home in Burton. Lucille was born October 9, 1925 in Burton to Willie and Emma Hertel Koerth. She was baptized December 6, 1925 and confirmed March 17, 1940 by Rev. Carl Ziehe in Greenvine. She was a graduate of Burton High School, and on January 25, 1948, she was married to Armond Eberhardt at Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Greenvine. She worked as a store clerk at Matthies Grocery in Burton. A member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg, Lucille served as Sunday School teacher, and was a member of the Ladies Aide. An avid gardener, she canned vegetables from her large garden, and picked up pecans to use in delicious baked goods for her children and grandchildren to enjoy. Babysitting her grandchildren brought her great joy. Survivors include her son, Tim Eberhardt of Houston; daughters Jennie Simpson and husband Jerry of Grapevine, JoAnn Hundemer and husband Mark of Burton, and Judy Eberhardt of Burton; grandchildren Justin Simpson, Jardin Simpson, Sarah Hundemer and special friend, Robert McKeown, and Haley and Bryan Folsom, and a sister, Lorena Boehnemann of Burton. Other surviving relatives include sister-in-law Dorothy Eberhardt, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Armond Eberhardt; brothers Lorenz Koerth and William "Junebug" Koerth; a brother and sister who died in infancy; brothers-in-law Leslie Boehnemann, Sr., Arnold Eberhardt, Erwin Eberhardt; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Lawrence and Lola Jean Eberhardt, and Wilfred and Mary Eberhardt. Serving as pallbearers are Ricky Fischer, Leslie Boehnemann, Jr., Roy Boehnemann, Ronnie Boehnemann, Glenn Linke, and Ronnie Hohlt. Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg.
