Margaret Colvin

Funeral services for Margaret Irene Colvin, 91, wife of Allen Colvin, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Mimisters Mark Gentry and Steve Locklair officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Lea Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 6 until 7:30 p.m. Friday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Mrs. Colvin passed away November 19, 2014 at Scott and White Hospital in Brenham. She was born June 5, 1923 in Nacogdoches to James Wyatt and Grace Slay Hopkins. She remained a member of Hwy 290 Church of Christ until her death. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Allen Nelson Colvin of Brenham; sons and daughters-in-law Howard and Karen Colvin of Ohio, and Kenneth and Patricia Colvin of Katy; daughter and son-in-law Joan and Gary Driver of Katy; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
