Margaret Huron

Margaret Ann Snow Huron, 60, of Brenham, died Nov. 28, 2004, in a Houston hospital. Mrs. Huron was born Feb. 17, 1944, in Anderson, Texas, to Frank and Francis Wesolick Snow. She was baptized and confirmed in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Anderson. Mrs. Huron was a 1962 graduate of Brenham High School. On June 28, 1969, she married Larry Huron in St. Mary s Catholic Church in Brenham. She was a secretary at A&L Hot Oil. She attended St. Mary s Catholic Church on a regular basis and was a secondary caregiver to her 4-year-old twin grandchildren three to four times a week. Mrs. Huron loved discussing politics. Before being diagnosed with cancer, she loved reading and gardening as well as refinishing furniture. Survivors include her husband, Larry Huron of Brenham; son, Doyle Huron of Brenham; daughters, Tess Pieper and husband Wade of Brenham and Ann Huron of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Tyler Pieper, Tanner Pieper and Tatum Pieper; brother, Alex Snow and wife Delores of Houston; sisters, Ruth Krueger of Brenham and Verna McClosky of Highlands; sisters-in-law, Peggy Snow and Gertrude Snow, both of Houston; brother-in-law, John Devine of Brenham; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Floyd and Tony Snow; sisters, Lucille Devine and Alice Murski; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mavis and John Huron; sister-in-law, Barbara Hackemack. The funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30 in St. Mary s Catholic Church in Brenham with Father David Ivey, celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Brenham. The rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. today in Memorial Oaks Chapel. Pallbearers will be Steven Koehne, Steve Surmiller, Wade Pieper, Eddie Rogers, L.G. Albright, Michael Krueger, Jimmy Eickhoff and Ronald Reimer. Gene Hackemack and all employees of A&L Hot Oil will be considered honorary pallbearers. Memorials may be given to St. Mary s Catholic Church in Brenham. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.
