Marilyn Sue Earls, 72, of Brenham, TX, died on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2022 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with a rosary during the visitation at 7:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 15, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brenham, TX. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Marilyn was born on October 28, 1949 in McAllen, TX to James Humphrey Sr. and Mary Pherigo Henderson. She married her husband, Larry L. Earls Sr., on September 24, 1988. She worked as a manager of the IT Help Desk for the Houston Police Department.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and retired from the Houston Police Department.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Larry L. Earls Sr. of Brenham, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and wife Shana Earls of San Antonio, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and husband Craig Nelson of Brenham, TX; daughter, Cristi Leech of Tomball, TX; brother, James Humphrey Henderson Jr. of College Station, TX; brother and sisters-in-law, Michael Edward and wife Conchita Henderson of San Antonio, TX and Danny and wife Victoria Henderson of Lacey’s Spring, AL; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and husband Jeff Butler of Belton, TX and Martha and husband Jim Miller of Little Elm, TX; grandchildren, Anthony Earls and Madison, Emerson Barnett and Dalton, Hayden Earls, Chris Ford and Megan, Craig Nelson and Beca, Chase Nelson and Kim and Tyler Markle; great-grandchildren, Emma Nelson, Hayley Nelson, Emily Nelson, Lily Nelson, Damian McNeil, and McKenzie Ford; cousins, Bob and Linda Sander; nieces Angela Wingard, Victoria (Tori) Ramsey, Marie Nelson, Bethany Henderson, and Kimberly Freeman; nephews, James Henderson, James Paul Miller, Joshua Levi Miller, Michael Freeman and Joseph Colantuono.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; James Humphrey Henderson Sr. and Mary Henderson; and sister, Mary Idell Henderson.
Serving as pallbearers will be Craig Nelson Jr., Chase Nelson, Christopher Ford, Anthony Earls, Tyler Markle, and Hayden Earls.
