Marjorie Runge

Marjorie (Marge) Ann Runge of Brenham, Texas passed away August 26, 2016, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Marge was born September 28, 1937 to Arthur and Erna Steinkamp Schroeder of Brenham. She was married to Kirby Runge, who preceded her in death in 1984.

Marge is survived by her son, Jeffrey Runge and daughter-in-law, Charlotte Ann Runge; granddaughter Shaunna Michelle Runge and great-grandson, Blake Yeater; sisters and brothers-in-law Gertrude and Gilbert Schroeder and Lucille and Bill Welch; sister-in-law Gladys Fay Schroeder, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Marge was preceded in death by her brothers, Leroy Schroeder and Arthur Fred Schroeder.

Marge was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. For anyone who had a chance to taste her cooking, she will be missed, along with being able to admire all the cross stitch art that she had such patience and talent to create.

A private service was held graveside by the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date, with details to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Cancer Center of Methodist Hospital or to the American Heart Association.
