Mark Kubeczka

Mark Alphonse Kubeczka, 62, of Brenham, TX, passed away on June 16, 2020 in Houston, TX.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 22, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with Father Ernesto Elizondo officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

A visitation will be from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. A rosary will also be held at 5:00 p.m. during the visitation.

Mr. Kubeczka was born in Brenham, TX on December 30, 1957 to Alphonse and Regina Konieczny Kubeczka. He retired as a rural postal carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He served honorably in the Marine Corps.

Mr. Kubeczka was baptized and confirmed in St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Brenham. He was married to his wife, Dana Nance, on July 15, 1978. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Kubeczka was survived by his son, Brian Kubeczka of Brenham, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Paul Kubeczka and wife Amie of Brenham, TX; and grandson, Aiden Soliz.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alphonse and Regina Kubeczka; wife, Dana; and brother Michael.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main Street, Brenham, TX 77833.
