Mark Meyer

Mark Allen Meyer, 50, of Brenham passed away on January 15, 2021 in Bryan, TX.  He was born February 7, 1970 in Brenham, TX to Edwin G. and Evelyn Faye (Wilks) Meyer.  He was baptized on April 26, 1970 at Grace Lutheran Church, Brenham, TX and confirmed on March 31, 1985 at Eben-Ezer Lutheran Church of Berlin, Brenham, TX.

Mark was employed by Republic Services and he never missed a day of work until he became ill in October 2018.  He loved to gamble, fish, camp, woodworking, re-building old trucks and most of all spending time with his daughter Jordan.

Survivors include his daughter, Jordan Meyer and special friend Tyler Williams of Brenham. Brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Frances Meyer of Granbury, TX, sister, Carol Bebee of Tyler, TX, brother, Eddie Wayne Meyer of Brenham, TX, sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Dan Thornton of Round Top, TX, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.   Special Canine friend Luna.  Special caregivers Misty Schulz and Zane Schulz.

He was preceded in death by his parents

Pallbearers will be Wayne Meyer, Clint Lampe, Neal Lampe, David Martin, Ryan Stegmann and Zane Schulz.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Samantha Meyer, Eddie Briscoe, Stetson Norsworthy, Coby Meyer, Shane Moore, Kody Moore, Mason Hoefelmeyer, Dustin Hoefelmeyer, Kerstynn Meyer, Kaleb Meyer and Layton Meyer.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham, TX with the family present from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.    The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor Skip Stutts officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
