Martha Brinkmeyer

Martha Brinkmeyer, 82, of Brenham, TX, died July 28, 2003, in Trinity Medical Center in Brenham. Ms. Brinkmeyer was born April 25, 1921, in the William Penn community of Washington County, TX, to William and Annie Marzahn Klussmann. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Brenham. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Willie Mae and Glenwood Hertel of Brenham and Barbara and Bobby Dewees of Pearland; sons and daughter-in-law, Raymond Brinkmeyer and Billy and Leslie Brinkmeyer, all of Brenham; grandchildren, Todd and Darlene Hertel, Darla Peel, Cherish Gandy, Jeremy and April McAnally, Joshua and Cody Jordan and Scott, Robert and Hollie Brinkmeyer; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Trevor and Tucker Hertel, Cassie Peel, Tara and Megan Gandy, Parker McDonald and Wesley and Wriley McAnally; and sisters, Minnie Klussmann and Rozena Fuelberg. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; one sister; one brother-in-law; and one daughter, Joyce McAnally, Dec. 15, 1998. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 31 in Grace Lutheran Church in Brenham with Pastor William Holzer officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. The family will receive visitors at Memorial Oaks Chapel Wednesday, July 30 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church Building Fund or School. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
