Mary Brown

Mary E. Brown, 88, of Chappell Hill, died January 20, 2008, at Gazebo Terrace Convalescent Center in Brenham. Mrs. Brown was born March 30, 1919, in Detroit, Michigan, to Peter Burns and Edith Marion Harrison Wilson. She earned a bachelor of commercial science degree from Detroit Business University. On April 23, 1940, she was married to Theodore Roger Brown in Detroit, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband in November, 1954. Mrs. Brown was an employee of the City of Houston for 31 years. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 24 in Chappell Hill United Methodist Church of Chappell Hill. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24 at Woodlawn Garden of Memories in Houston. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W.
