Mary Harrell

Mary Alice Harrell, 97, of Huntsville, died May 27, 2017 at Creekside Retirement Community.

Graveside service will be held at noon, Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 29, 2017 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Mary Alice Harrell, the daughter of Carlos and Sallie Worley, was born on September 12, 1919. She married the love of her life, James E. Harrell, on July 19, 1940 in Cole Springs, Texas. She graduated from Regan High School in Houston. She loved to travel the world and she loved her family very much. Also, at one point in time, she was in the interior decorating business.

Survivors include her son Gary Harrell of Sacramento, California, brother Lewis E. Worley, sister Lyra Ken Williamson of Brenham, Texas, grandchildren Sherry Lynn Grumbles and Zander Ray, and great grandchildren Zach and Zoe Grumbles.
