Mary Hoefelmeyer

Mary Jane Jeannie Hoefelmeyer, 50, of Brenham, lost her battle with cancer on Sept. 18, 2004. Mrs. Hoefelmeyer was born Dec. 6, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio, to James Buck and Rosa Buckler Arthurs. On June 12, 1985, she was married to Edwin Hoefelmeyer. She was a cosmetologist at Fantastic Sams. Survivors include her husband, Edwin Hoefelmeyer of Brenham; sons, Christopher Allen Hoefelmeyer, Billy Joe Hoefelmeyer and Cody Wayne Hoefelmeyer, all of Brenham; her mother, Rosa Arthurs of Olive Hill, Kentucky; brothers, Mark Arthurs of Thornville, Ohio and Charlie Arthurs of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Oma Mabry of Olive Hill, Kentucky; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Clara and Wallace Tomczak of Brenham, Caroline and Roy Bethel; Ella Mae Dallmeyer of Brenham, Tammie Sue Hoefelmeyer of Brenham and James Ray Hoefelmeyer of Brenham. She was preceded in death by her father, one brother and one sister. Family visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, in Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22 in Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham with Pastor Sue Beall officiating. Burial will be in St. John s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Prairie Hill. In lieu of the usual remembrances, the family requests your help in defraying funeral expenses. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
