Mary Smith

Mary Jane Smith, 71, of Brenham died on January 17, 2009 at St. Josephs Regional Health Center in Bryan. She was born on July 24, 1937 to Orville "Red" Cullum and Lois Purvis Cullum in Shaw, Mississippi. Mary Jane married Charles Smith on December 24, 1955 in Greenville, Mississippi. Survivors are: son and daughter-in-law Harry Daniel and Rhonda Smith of Decatur, Texas. daughter and son-in-law: Judy and Mark Johnston of Brenham, brother-in-law Frank Smith of Wallisville, Texas. grandchildren are Ashley Smith, Stephanie Smith, Randy Eckenfels, Angela Eckenfels, Donald Johnston, Lanee'' Johnston and John Mark Johnston, Uncle Havis and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Charles Smith. Funeral services for Mary will be Friday January 23, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Boon Funeral Home, burial will be at the Hollendale Cemetery in Hollendale, Mississippi. Visitation with the family and friends will be Monday, January 19, 2009 from 5 to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
