Mary Katherine Wehmeyer, 51, of Brenham, died November 18, 2005, at the family residence in Brenham. Mary was born December 12, 1953, in the U.S. Army hospital at Camp Rucker, Alabama, to Willie F. Wehmeyer, Jr. and Marian Alvina Randermann Wehmeyer. She was baptized on February 14, 1954 at Camp Rucker and was confirmed on June 30, 1968, in Salem Lutheran Church at Salem, Washington County, Texas. She graduated from Brenham High School and Texas A&M University. Mary, a popular area florist, was the owner and operator of Floral Creative Endeavors in Brenham. Over the years, she was employed by Brenham Floral Company, Washington County State Bank and Sears. Survivors include her brothers and sisters-in-law: David & Pam Wehmeyer of Hockley, TX, and James & Sharon Wehmeyer of Brenham, TX; sisters and brother-in-law: Connie & Alan Hohlt of Burton, TX, and Rhonda Wehmeyer of Brenham, TX, Nephews; Brandon Phillip and Brandie Wehmeyer of Tomball, Ryan Scott Wehmeyer of Brenham, Blake William Wehmeyer of Hockley, Cameron Lane Wehmeyer of Brenham, Neal Alan Hohlt of Burton, and Austin Reid Wehmeyer of Brenham. The funeral service for Mary Katherine Wehmeyer will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 22, 2005, in Memorial Oaks Chapel with Rev. Mike Weidner officiating. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main Street in Brenham.
