Matthew Casto

Matthew Tripp Casto, the 2-month-old son of Christopher Alan and Kiya Nicole Phares Casto, died March 15, 2009 at Trinity Medical Center in Brenham. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 18 at Grace Community Fellowship, 107 S. Saeger St., Brenham. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. Matthew was born January 24, 2009, in Brenham. Survivors include his parents, Chris and Kiya Casto of Brenham; brothers, Trestin Phares, Austin Lamb and Michael Lamb, all of Brenham, and Tyler Casto of Alvin; sister, Madison Lamb of Brenham; grandparents, Carol Phares and Tommy Phares, both of Texas City, Mike Casto of Brenham and Lisa Casto of Houston; great-grandparents, Cecil and Norma Jean Strange of Houston and Jeanine Diesch of Pearland; and numerous aunts and uncles. Pallbearers will be Michael Phares, Matthew Phares, Steven Casto and Scott Casto.
