Michelle Shah

Michelle Katie Shah, 19, of Somerville, died May 10, 2007, near Brenham. Miss Shah was born Dec. 30, 1987, in Brenham, to Manzoor H. Shah and Mary E. Conner. She was employed as a nurse s aide at Brenham Rest Home and loved working with residents. Her goal was to be a nurse for she loved helping people. She will be missed by family, friends and her dog Dixie. Survivors include her mother, Mary E. Conner of Somerville; her father and stepmother, Manzoor H. and Rukaia Ali Shah of Alice; two sisters, Dedra Conner and future brother-in-law, Henry Villarreal and Assra Ann Shah; two brothers, Ali Mahdi Shah and Shan Mahdi Shah; grandparents, Charles Sr. and Ann Conner of Burton; uncles and aunts, Charles Jr. and Laurie Conner, Patricia Conner and Jack Columbo, Homer and Judy Conner, Billy and Deby Conner and David and Wanda Hermann; and cousins, Brian Conner, Thomas Hutchinson, Jason Conner, Casey Conner, Jonathan Hermann, Justin Hermann, Samantha Stewart and Joel Nobles. She was preceded in death by her cousin, David Ray Conner. The family will receive visitors from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, May 11 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor Lawrence Bade officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. Pallbearers will be Thomas Hutchinson, Casey Conner, Jonathan Hermann, Justin Hermann, Jason Conner and Steve Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Conner Jr., Homer Conner, Billy Conner, David Hermann and Jack Columbo.
