Mike Mikolajewski

Mike Mikolajewski, 80, of Chappell Hill, passed away December 20, 2008, at Colonial Bell Nursing Home in Bellville, Texas. He was born September 23, 1928 to Pete Mikolajewski Sr. and Mary Duschinski of Chappell Hill. He was a rancher and was in the United States Air Force. He is survived by brothers and sister-in-law, Charles and Joyce Mikolajewski of Dayton and Pete Mikolajewski Jr. of Hempstead; sisters and brother-in-laws, Stella Allen of Hempstead, Lillian and Donald Sheffield of Houston and Suzanne and Jim Beasley of Hull; sister-in-law, Elaine Mikolajewski of Hempstead; numerous nieces and nephew; and special friend, Martha Dekowski. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, a brother, and a brother-in-law. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. today at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor Virgil Pecht officiating. Interment will follow in the Masonic Cemetery in Chappell Hill. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. today. Serving as pallbearers are Dewight Beasley, Michael Sheffield, Curtis Mikolajewski, Chad Mikolajewski, Ron Swingler, Christopher Swingler and Douglas Mikolajewski.
