Mildred Hair

Mildred Agnes Hair, 89, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 18, 2016.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 22, at 10:30 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 1104 Carlee Dr., Brenham, Texas 77833.

Mildred Noack Hair was born January 18, 1927, to John Paul Noack and Dora Voigt Noack near Slaton, Texas. She married Emery Naaman Hair, Jr. in Granger, Texas, on November 5, 1943. Two daughters were born to this union, Cynthia K. and Cathy S.

She lived in Texas City, Texas for fifty years and moved to Brenham in 1994, retiring from Monsanto Company after 30 years of service (27 of those years were working in the Credit Union there).

Mildred was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church in Texas City for 50 years, where she served in many capacities: Church Council, Sunday school teacher, Assistant Sunday school Superintendent Executive Board of Women of the church.

She transferred her membership to Christ Lutheran Church, were she was active in quilting and Circle, and was Coordinator of WECA.

Mildred also served on the Danforth Hospital Auxiliary in Texas City and Trinity Medical Center Auxiliary in Brenham."

Great-grandchildren:
Tommy & Charlie Padgett; Tessa, Hunter & Morgan Baty; Carson & Rory Mowdy; Hunter McGinn, Peyton Sykora & Audey Jaster

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Naaman Hair, Jr.; parents, Paul and Dora Noack;
sister, Margaret Noack, and son-in-law, David Kinler
