Mildred "Nancy" Grimm

Mildred “Nancy” Grimm, 96, left for her heavenly home on April 11, 2023 while living at Compassionate Care in Conroe, TX.

Nancy was born January 4, 1927 in Sulphur Springs, TX to Fielding and Bell Allsip.

If you knew Nancy she loved baseball, she loved watching the Brenham Cubs, Blinn Buccaneers and the Astros. She loved her family and enjoyed watching then in all of their activities.

On December 20, 1945 she married Melvin A. Grimm at Grace Lutheran Church by Rev. T. H. Graalmann.

Nancy retired from the State of Texas working for The Department of Human Services and the Brenham ISD.

Survivors include her son, Melvin “Jack” Grimm and wife, Tami of Conroe, TX. Granddaughter, Lindsey Camp and husband, Jentry of Magnolia, TX. Grandson, John Grimm of Conroe, TX; step granddaughter, Megan Hiedrick and husband, Daniel of Katy, TX; step grandson, Mason McWilliams and wife, Whitney of Corpus Christi, TX; great-granddaughters, Karsyn Camp, Maddox McWilliams, Morgan McWilliams and great-grandson, Wade Camp.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Grimm, her parents, two brothers, a sister and great-granddaughter, Weslyn McWilliams.

Visitation with family and friends will take place Thursday, April 13,2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2023 at Grace Lutheran Church with burial following in Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are John Grimm. Jentry Camp, Mason McWilliams, Thomas Malak, Dan Davis and Michael Vader.

The family would like to thank Compassionate Care and Heart to Heart, Conroe, TX. for taking such good care of Nancy.
