Minnie Ellermann

Minnie Wehring Ellermann, 86, of Brenham, passed away February 12, 2008 in Brenham Rest Home. Mrs. Ellermann was born May 1, 1921 in William Penn to Henry and Minnie Loesch Wehring. She was baptized and confirmed in Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn. Mrs. Ellermann was educated in William Penn schools and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wiedeville. She was married to Otto Ellermann, Jr.. They owned and operated Ellermann''s Store for many years. Survivors include sisters Esther Schroeder and Laura Schwake, both of Brenham; numerous nieces and nephews, and special friend, Janice Randermann McClendon. Mrs. Ellermann was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Otto Ellermann, Jr.; four brothers: Henry, Willie, Reinhard, and Oscar Wehring; three sisters, Ella Wehmeyer, Emma Schultz, and Annie Hemann. The funeral service for Minnie Ellermann will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 14, 2008 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Sandy Hill with Pastor Jim Abbott officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Refreshments will be provided by Immanuel Lutheran Church women. Visitation will be at Memorial Oaks Chapel on Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m . Serving as pallbearers are Roger Ellerman, Tom Pitts, Arnold Roese, Ralph Bowler, Wilburn Addicks and Leroy Henze. Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Wiedeville.
