Mozelle Turnbow Holden, 80, of Brenham, died Jan. 2, 2005, at her residence. Mrs. Holden was born July 2, 1924, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to William Bill and Alma Worthen Turnbow. She was a graduate of Wichita Falls High School. On July 3, 1947, she married Robert C. Holden in Wichita Falls. Mrs. Holden was a homemaker. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Elvira Holden of Austin; daughter, Judy Matta of The Woodlands; and two grandchildren, Kevin Matta of The Woodlands and Laura Matta Riderelli and husband Marco of Osimo, Italy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Holden; her parents, William and Alma Turnbow; and grandson, Karim Matta. A service of remembrance will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7 in Memorial Oaks Chapel with the family receiving visitors from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to: Tsunami Relief, in care of Bridge Point Church, 4131 Spicewood Spring Rd., Suite L2, Austin, TX 78759. Service arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
