Muriel Littrell

Muriel Ruth Littrell, 88, of Brenham, widow of James A. Litttrell, died June 9, 2009 in Trinity Medical Center. Mrs. Littrell was born March 26, 1921 to Oscar and Mamie Roberts Hinkle in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Charlie and Carol Littrell of Brenham, and son Jim Littrell, Jr. of Miami, Fla.; grandchildren and spouses Debbie Ventura and husband James of Pleasanton, Dana Littrell, Dory and Scott Hood, all of Brenham, Denise and Jason McWhorter of Houston, and James Willis of Austin; great-grandchildren: Scotty Hood, Anna Hood, Abbie Hood, Andy Hood, and Josiah McWhorter. Graveside services for Muriel Ruth Littrell will be held at Prairie Lea Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2009 with Rev. Villard Hunter officiating. Visitation with family and friends will take place Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main.
