Myrtle Marie Landua Grabarschick died on January 1, 2016 was born January 4, 1923, in the Rehburg Community of Washington County, Texas. The daughter of Robert and Annie (Broesche) Landua. She was baptized February 18, 1923 by Reverend H. Weber at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg Burton, Texas. She was confirmed September 20, 1936 by Reverend C. A. Lehne at the same church. She was married to William Grabarschick, Jr. on January 29, 1945 by Reverend Paul C. Czerkus at St. Paul Lutheran Church Rehburg.

Mrs. Grabarschick attended Texas Lutheran College Seguin, Texas with the Church Workers Institute. She received a diploma in Parish Education with the American Lutheran Church Leadership Education Curriculum. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church Rehburg until 1972. She helped organize the First Vacation Bible School. Served as Superintendent and Teacher at St. Paul Lutheran Church Rehburg.

She became a member at Christ Lutheran Church, Brenham, Texas in 1972. She taught Sunday School for 20 years. A former member of the Church Choir. A member of Joy Circle of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. A member of Sunday School, served on Church Council for several years, served on Church Boards, active in the Women of the Church as Bible Study Leader and Officers and a member of the Ministry Vision and Building Committee. Mrs. Grabarschick enjoyed sharing the gifts and talents that God gave her, only by the Grace of God''s Glory. She worked for Civil Service while her husband served his country during the World War II at Fort Riley, Kansas. She was employed by H.W. Arp Jewelry Store, Gaskamp''s Fabric''s, Christ Lutheran Day School and "Today and Yesterday Antique Shop" as Manager and Sales Lady.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Willie Grabarschick, her parents Robert and Annie Landua and sisters Catherine Kaechler and Vernice Barker, Father in-law William Grabarschick, Sr. and numerous sister and brother in-laws. She is Survived by her son Robert William Grabarschick. Grandchildren Jennifer Grabarschick of Houston. Robert William Jr. and wife Molly of Brenham, Laura Grabarschick of Houston, and William Grabarschick of Brenham. Sister Dorothy Schulenberg of Burton, Texas. Nieces and family Bertha Ann Kammerer her husband Tommy, Bradley and Brian Kammerer of Brenham. Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Great Grandchildren Taylor and Logan Grabarschick.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 from Christ Lutheran Church with Pastors Walt Schindehette and Pastor Mark Groves. Funeral arrangements by Memorial Oaks. Interment will follow at Prairie Lee Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Monday, January 4, form 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
