Myrtle Hettie Richter Zeller, 86, of Port Lavaca, widow of Earl J. Zeller, passed away August 21, 2011 in Port Lavaca. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2011 in St. Paul''s Lutheran Church of Rehburg. Pastor Dan Zellmer will officiate. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. A memorial service is scheduled for 7 p.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2011 in Port Lavaca at Salem Lutheran Church. A visitation will begin at 6 p.m. until service time at Salem Lutheran Church in Port Lavaca. Myrtle Zeller was born June 21, 1924 in Burton to Otto Charles and Hettie Louise Engelbrecht Richter. She was both baptized and later confirmed in St. Paul''s Lutheran Church of Rehburg, and attended Burton area schools. On December 10, 1984, she married Earl Zeller in Port Lavaca. Myrtle was employed as a bookkeeper for International Furniture Co. of Bryan. Survivors include step-sons Ty Zeller and wife Lynette of Hallettsville, and Rod Zeller and wife Karen of Cut ''N Shoot; sister and brother-in-law Lucille and John "Buddy" D. Winder of Port Lavaca; nine step-grandchildren and 16 step-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Memorials may be directed to St. Paul''s Lutheran Church of Rehburg. Funeral arrangements for Myrtle Hettie Zeller are entrusted to Foehner Funeral Home in Burton.
