Nancy Kartous

Nancy L. Kartous, 67, of Carmine, Texas died in her home on the evening of August 30, 2003. She was born on April 21, 1936 in Carmine, Tx, the daughter of Wayne Bishop and Dorothy Weyand Blackburn. She was a graduate of Carmine-Round Top School. She retired from the Pasadena, Texas Police Department in March of 1998. Survivors include her husband, L.W. Kartous of Carmine, her daughter and son-in-law, Cherrie Beth & Bob Wines of Pearland, two grandchildren Essie & Gabby, and two sisters, Nina Dean Robison of Longview, & Patsy Ruth Simpson of Antlers, Ok. Visitation will be between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 1, 2003 in Foehner Funeral Home; Burton, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2003 in the Carmine Cemetery.
