Nathalie Loesch Luedke, 87, of Brenham, TX, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2023.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Groves officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Lea Cemetery.
Nathalie was born on May 2, 1936 to Paul and Adeline Sternberg Loesch in Washington County, TX. She was baptized on June 14, 1936 at St. James Lutheran Church of New Wehdem by Rev. RA Schmidt. She was confirmed on April 2, 1950 at St. James Lutheran Church of New Wehdem by Rev. GC Gengg. She graduated from Bellville High School in 1954. She was employed by the City of Bellville for thirty-five years.
Nathalie is survived by her son, James Luedke; daughter, and son-in-law, Janet and Robert Mantey; daughter, Linda Crabtree. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Barbara Loesch, Elroy Loesch and sister, Joyce Loesch; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Jessica and Andrew Maale, son, Walker and soon to be baby arriving this June 2023, Adam Mantey, Cara Ward and son Cash Ward, Jordan Crabtree and fiancé Colton Mahanna; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Adeline Sternberg Loesch; sister-in-law, Carolyn Loesch and nephew Phillip Loesch.
Serving as pallbearers will be Warren Klump, Rusty Gregor, Adam Mantey, Stephen Loesch, Troy Oevermann, Ronnie Nienstedt, and Darrin Loesch. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Larry Tegeler and Winston Rosenbaum.
The family would like to thank Baylor Scott and White, Brenham Nursing and Rehab, Argent Court, Silversage, Encompass and Kruse Village. The family would also like to thank Dr. Robert Haydon, Dr. Barbara Pierce and her nurses Angie and Crystal, Dr. Lane Miller, Dr. Cory Pollard, Dr. Leal, Dr. Kristine Meadors, Mike Benestante, Mollie Poehlmann, The City of Bellville, and Jazmine Willis at Encompass; caretakers, Leanne Strahan and Felicia Deavers.
