Nathlie Tahlie Glaesmann, 87, of Burton, died July 15, 2005, in Brenham Rest Home. Mrs. Glaesmann was born on October 25, 1917, in the community of William Penn, to Martin and Henritta Boenker Klussmann. She was educated in William Penn School. She was married to Herbert Glaesmann in Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn. Mrs. Glaesmann was a homemaker and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville. She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Herbert and Kay Glaesmann and Larry and Dee Glaesmann, all of Brenham; grandchildren, Becky and Heath Dunlap of Brenham, Tammy and Steven Glaesmann of Brenham, Brad and Jennifer Glaesmann of Burton, Shane and Stacey Glaesmann of Pearland, and Ryan Glaesmann of Brenham; great-grandchildren, Nichole and Michaela Dunlap, Macy and Alaynia Glaesmann, all of Brenham and Alexa Glaesmann of Pearland; her brother and sister-in-law, Alvin and Jean Klussmann of Brenham; six sisters and three brothers-in-law, Leona Cox of California, Emmie Colburn of Arlington, Ollie and Alvin Dannhaus of Fort Worth, Evelyn and Delbert Muery of Gay Hill, Joyce and Bill Thomas of Boerne and Amanda Glaesmann of Brenham; sisters-in-law, Rosa Lee Maass of Burton and Annie Glaesmann of Brenham; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; parents; brother, Glenn Klussmann; sister-in-law, Esther Quebe; and brothers-in-law, Calvin Quebe, Louis Glaesmann, Louis Maass, Marvin Lee Renz, Erwin Glaesmann, Bob Colburn and James Cox. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 17 in Zion Lutheran Church in Zionsville with Pastor David Hall officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Glaesmann, Brad Glaesmann, Heath Dunlap, Shane Glaesmann, Ryan Glaesmann and Darrell Quebe. Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
