Nevilee Weber

Nevilee Broesche Weber, 90, widow of Milford Arthur Weber, passed away May 13, 2016 in Brenham.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 16, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg, with Pastor Denise Seymour officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Nevilee Weber was born May 16, 1925 in the Rehburg Community of Washington County to Henry W. and Louise Fischer Broesche. She was baptized July 5, 1925 at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg by Rev. Herman Weber, and was confirmed in the same church on Sept. 3, 1939 by Rev. C. A. Lehne. On June 6, 1948, she was married to Milford Weber at the same church, where she remained a member until her death. She was active in the church, teaching Sunday School and Bible School. She was also a member of the Burton VFD Auxiliary.

Nevilee was an avid gardener and a wonderful cook. Everyone looked forward to her homemade bread, molasses cookies, and dill pickles.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Patti and Harry Penkert, and a niece and nephew, Marilyn and David Blakey, whom she considered as daughter and son; grandchildren David and Suzy Blakey, Michael and Heather Blakey, and Caroline and Jared Walls. Other survivors include her great grandchildren, and special friend, Kathy Singleton. Preceding Mrs. Weber in death were her husband, parents, and a sister, Alma Broesche Schulenberg.

Serving as pallbearers are David Blakey, Jr., Michael Blakey, Jared Walls, James Schulenberg, Terry Korthauer, and William Klingsporn.

Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg. The family wishes to thank the caring staff of Gazebo Terrace Convalescent Center.
