Neville Raiford Tycer Landua, 63 of Brenham passed away peacefully July 19th, 2024 surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with mantle cell lymphoma. Neville was born September 26th, 1960 in Belleville, Illinois at Scott Air Force Base to Marie Elinor Neville and Forster Commaigere Tycer.
After the passing of her parents, she moved to Louisiana at age 9, attended Denham Springs High School and danced as a Jackette.
She met James Landua at Toledo Bend Marina in 1981, they married in 1982 and had three children.
Those who knew her, loved her and accepted her hard headedness and unsolicited advice always knowing she had the best intentions and a genuine heart.
She cared deeply for her children and grandchildren and over the years she gained many bonus children that she loved dearly as her own. She was a therapist to those in need and even though she may have complained sometimes, she was always willing and there to listen.
Neville enjoyed reading, genealogy, trivia and crocheting and above all, having Mariachi’s margaritas with her kids. She spent her time watching her grandkids games, checking their spelling homework and helping with math. She also loved getting daily updates and pictures of Jack and was overjoyed that they shared the same birthday.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Forster Tycer, and adoptive mother Milbra Tate.
Neville is survived by her children: Robin Landua, Jennifer and husband John Gillespie, James “Bubba” and wife Haley Landua; 7 grandchildren: Carter, Benjamin, Natalie, Olivia, Lillie, Mia and Jack; father of her children: James Landua and wife Kay and cousin Richard Neville. She is also survived by her Denham Springs Family: Jann and Mike Loyd, Denise and Jeff Latil, Carol and Keith Rachal, Cissy and Brian Whittington and John Tate.
Neville would like to give special thanks and appreciation to Rhonda Stephens, Noble Powell, Debbie Smith, Lisa Bohac, Mayra Guzman and Michael, Jessica, and Sam at Baylor Scott & White for keeping her comfortable until the end.
Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 26 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
