Olga Villanueva

Olga A. Villanueva, 68, the widow of Roberto G. Villanueva, passed away July 25, 2015 at Brenham Rest Home. Visitation with family will be Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, from 1 until 3 p.m., with viewing to continue all day. Olga Villanueva was born Nov. 28, 1946 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Jose and Dominga Herrera. She was a member of the Redeemer Church, and loved helping and taking care of others. For many years, she worked at Brenham Rest Home, and even after becoming a resident there herself, continued to assist her fellow residents any way she could. Olga loved to cook, and shared many delicious dishes with her family and friends. Survivors include daughters Michele Pacheco and husband Marco of Brenham, and Annette Villanueva of Austin; grandchildren: Jessica Graciano, Rachel Graciano, Armando Prieto, Jr., Vanessa Prieto, and Olga Pacheco; great-grandchildren: Alexis Graciano, Johnathan Paul Pruett, Issac Pruett, Xavier Graciano, and Anyia Prieto; brother, Eristeo Herrera of Corpus Christi. Other surviving relatives include nephews and nieces Javier and Nelda Herrera , Thelma and Vincente Salazar, James and Patricia Herrera, and Janida and Carlos DeLaRosa. Mrs. Villaneuva was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Roberto G. Villanueva. Funeral arrangements for Olga A. Villanueva are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.
