Oliver Adolph Neutzler , 88, of Carmine, died March 26, 2009 at Trinity Care Center in Brenham. Oliver was born March 20, 1921 in the Burton community to Charles and Ella Menn Neutzler. On September 15, 1951, he married Vinita Logan. Mr. Neutzler was a member of Carmine Hall, La Bahia Hall, and Greenvine Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Mr. Neutzler was preceded in death by his parents, a son, two brothers, two nephews, three brothers-in-law, and three nieces. Survivors include his wife, Vinita Neutzler; daughter, Wanda Neutzler Pohl and husband Gary; grandson, Michael Pohl and wife Sara; granddaughter, Tanya Pohl Hupe and husband Jason; great-grandchildren Brianna Hupe, Hayden Hupe, and Taylor Pohl; brother Lee Dell Neutzler and Mary Dien; sister-in-law Thelma Neutlzer; Earlyne Strawbridge, Marilyn Sue Williams and husband Joe; Glora Smith; Lynette Facteau; brother-in-law Daune Logan, Bob Logan, Leo Logan, Jr. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Foehner Funeral Home. The funeral service for Oliver Neutzler will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Greenvine Emmanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Rich Nelson officiating. Burial will be in La Bahia Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Greenvine Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main, Brenham.
