Otto Stegmann, Jr.

Otto W. Stegmann, Jr., 69, husband of Dorothy Flisowski Stegmann, died May 1, 2010 in Trinity Medical Center. Otto was born August 18, 1940 in Brenham to Otto W. Sr. and Lillie Gajeske Stegmann. Baptized and confirmed in Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville, he attended Brenham area schools. Otto was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving his country during the Viet Nam War. On December 31, 1985, he married Dorothy Flisowski in La Grange. Otto was employed throughout his lifetime as a carpenter. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Chappell Hill; sons and daughters-in-law Ryan and Crystal Stegmann of Arlington, and Terri and Pat Stegmann of Brenham; daughter and son-in-law Bonnie and Kevin Bush of Brenham, and daughter Barbara Jean Forero of Emporia, Kansas. Nine grandchildren are also surviving. Graveside services for Otto W. Stegmann, Jr. will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Zionsville Lutheran Church Cemetery, with Pastor David Hall officiating.
