He married the love of his life, Doris Jean Ullrich in Carmine, Texas, on November 11, 1956. He was a wonderful husband and loving father and grandfather.
Otto was a man of strong faith. He served on St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Council, was an usher for many years, and helped drive members to church who needed a ride. Otto loved going dancing with his wife and close friends. He enjoyed golfing, was on a bowling league, and played softball in his younger years. He enjoyed gardening and mowing his lawn, and did so all the way up to last year! He loved being at the farm and working the land and raising his cattle. He enjoyed some woodworking in his spare time and built a wine rack and doors for his daughter’s kitchen island. He also enjoyed working on multiple home projects and anything else he could tinker with.
Otto traveled with his wife, Doris to Germany, Mexico, New York, Las Vegas, New Jersey, Hawaii, North Carolina, Tennessee, Colorado, and Florida. In past years he enjoyed the Friday Night Dinner Group with close friends.
