Patricia Lee Borgstedte, 65, wife of Dale Borgstedte, passed away December 10, 2015 in Katy.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 14, 2015 at Friedens United Church of Christ in Washington, with Pastor Greg Felder officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Patricia Borgstedte was born February 17, 1950 in Beaumont to Kenneth Ray and Irma Lee Cryer. On March 19, 1994, she was married to Dale Borgstedte. Trish worked as a mediator in the insurance business. Her greatest joy was being a Grammy. An avid animal lover, she was a loving caregiver to her Schnauzers Sarge, George and Sam. She also cared for her granddogs, Whoop and Howdy.
Playing golf and gardening were favorite pastimes. She enjoyed estate sales, and finding a treasure brought her great joy. Her greatest joy was helping and caring for others. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Dale Borgstedte of Washington; daughters, Christina Borgstedte, and Rebecca Borgstedte; a grandchild, Blaze Graham; brother, Ken Cryer and wife Jennifer; sister, Joanne Zook. Other surviving relatives include brother-in-law, Ted Borgstedte, Jr. and wife Linda; sisters-in-law Mary Helen Steele and husband Arthur, and Terri Schilling and husband Larry, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ken Cryer and Irma Lee Howard; sister, Darby Guin; nephew, Cody Guin; grandsons Hunter, Colt and Will Graham, and her mother-in-law, Thekla Borgstedte.
Serving as pallbearers are Robert Borgstedte, Al Steinbach, Don Aiken, Lonnie Addicks, John Walkoviak, Jamie Damon, John Earl Cryer, Matt Blevins, Jason Blevins, and Colt Clay. Blaze Graham will be an honorary pallbearer.
