Patricia Roulston

Patricia C. Roulston, 73, of Brenham, died Feb. 4, 2019, after a five-year battle with cancer to be with the love of her life, Buddy, in heaven.

Patsy was a vibrant, full of spunk, tell it like it is woman. She loved her grandchildren, who called her Grandma Pat. She always said what was on her mind and let it be known of where she stood on things.

Patsy loved animals of all kinds and took in strays and cared for them as her own. She loved raising goats and taking care of them. She also competed in reining horse competitions with Buddy and was in the top 10 at the American Paint Horse World Show.

She was a sci-fi movie watcher enjoying Star Wars and Star Trek movies. Patsy had a giving spirit and always wanted to help others.

Survivors include her sons, Jeffery Grant and wife Marsha of Parachute, CO and Cone Knapp and wife Kimerly of Wachee, FL; daughter, Lela Kohring and husband Michael of Brenham; stepson, Todd Roulston and wife Theresa of Bellville; stepdaughter, Melissa Brast and husband Cliff of Liberty; brothers, Steven Viola and wife Susan and Ron Viola, all of San Antonio; sister, Victoria Viola Stendebach of San Antonio. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jimmie, Jorjie and Josh Grant; Ashley and Forest Magnus; Corey, Wesley and Serenity Knapp; Rikki (Melissa) and Matt Howard; Bo Scholze; and Marshall and Wyatt Kohring; great-grandchildren, Michael, Marshall and MacArthur Magnus, and Jaxon Scholze; nephews, Josiah (Vicki) and Jeremiah Stendebach, Jarod (Steve) Viola, and Anthony (Ron) Viola; and niece, Angelina Viola.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Roulston; mother, Corrinne Alley; and father, Pat Viola.
