Patricia Schultz

Patricia Denise (McLaughlin) Schultz made her grand exit from this world on February 7th, 2018 at Methodist Hospital in Houston Texas after filling all of our lives with joy for 71 years. A celebration of life will be held at Memorial Oaks Chapel on Saturday February 17th at 2:00pm.

Patti was born in Miami, Florida on September 1st, 1946 to Robert William and Georgianne (Clemons) McLaughlin. One of three children, she attended Resurrection School in Houston until 9th grade and went on to graduate from Furr High School in Houston, Texas and quickly found a passion and talent for floral design. She worked in many flower shops in Houston, Brenham and then went onto open her own in Burton. She also served many years as the Municipal Judge for the City of Burton. She was the most unique and genuinely funny and joyful person you could ever meet.

She leaves behind her husband Randy Schultz of Burton, children; Kirk Hall of Austin, Derek and Kristi Henson of Brenham, Ryan Schultz of Austin, Steven and Stephanie Bobinger of College Station, grandchildren; Kristopher Hall , Samantha Hall , Jacob Henson, Mackenzie Henson, and Maddox Bobinger, great-grandchildren; Easton Irwin, Brantley Schlein, Audrey Henson and James Henson. Brother Mike McLaughlin and wife Christa, Brothers-in-law Danny Schultz and wife Donna, Glenn Schultz, Sister-in-law Karen Eikenhorst and husband Bill, Special friends; Carrie Bozarth and Josh Guelker along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She leaves us to go be with her parents, Robert and Georgianne, her brother Timothy McLaughlin, Sister-in-Law Barbara Schultz and her favorite little blue-eyed girl Peyton Guelker.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Josh and Leianne Guelker, Carrie Bozarth, Nancy and Dale Guelker, Sharon Horn, Betsey Zeiss, Stanley Powell, and Sharon Lang.

The family would like to give special thanks to everyone at the Methodist Hospital, especially the liver transplant team, Washington County EMS, and everyone at St. Joseph Radiology for going above and beyond the call of duty and being great friends to our mother and wife.
