Patrick Stelter

Patrick Henry Stelter passed away in Brenham, TX on October 9th, 2022, at the age of 76.  Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Dora (Hueske) Stelter, Nancy (Waneck) Stelter, and Sharon (Cook) Stelter.  He is survived by his daughter Staci and her husband George Edwards Jr. and their children George III and Christian, his son Brandon and his wife Christi and son Brayden, and stepson Jeff Juergens and his wife Nicolle and their children Keegan and Emma.  Pat was born in Brenham, where he lived most for most of his life and was married to Nancy (Waneck) Stelter and had two children Brandon and Staci.  Later, he married Sharon (Cook) Stelter with her two children Michael and Jeff Juergens.  Pat served his country from Sept 6, 1966 to Sept. 5, 1972, in the US Army.  Most of his career was working as an HVAC Technician and eventually retired from the Brenham State School.  He was a loving grandfather to Christian Edwards, Brayden Stelter, Keegan and Emma Juergens.  He enjoyed fishing and was always looking to catch the next big one.  When he wasn’t fishing, visiting family or friends, you could find him serving his church ministries at Abiding Word.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 14, 2022 at Abiding Word Lutheran Church.

The family would like to especially thank the nurses of Brenham Nursing & Rehabilitation and Hospice Brazos Valley.  In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request donations be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, Gideons International, Brenham Chapter or Abiding Word Lutheran Church, Brenham.
