Patsy Davis

Patsy Marlene Davis, 79, widow of Harley P. Davis, passed away July 5, 2016 in Brenham.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2016 at First Baptist Church Chappell Hill, with Rev. David Beckworth officiating.

Patsy was born Dec. 20, 1936 in Kenton, Ohio to Russell Lauren and Marjorie Eleanor (Decker) Blue. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and David Curry of Brenham, and grandchildren Dennis Flynn and spouse, Stephanie, Karla McMayon and husband, Andrew; Nicole Curry and Tara Curry. Great-grandchildren are Hailey Flynn, Kathlene McMayon, Kylene McMayon, Ollie McMayon, Jaidon Curry and Jace Curry. Also surviving is a special friend, John R. Craven, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bruce McCauley; a daughter, Rebecca Lynn McCauley, her second husband, H. P. Davis, as well as her parents and three brothers.

Patsy was a member of the Baptist faith. For 20 years, she was a loving caregiver to her daughter, Becky, who was a quadriplegic. Crocheting and collecting teapots were favorite pastimes.

Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church Chappell Hill.
