Paul Madison Fulton, Jr., 85, of Brenham, passed away August 20, 2012 at his residence. A graveside service will take place at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at Chappell Hill Masonic Cemetery, followed by a Memorial/Celebration Service at 5 p.m., Friday at the First United Methodist Church, with Pastor Kay Reed officiating. Paul Fulton was born January 13, 1927 in Elton, Louisiana to Paul and Leona Cooper Fulton, Sr. A graduate of Elton High School in Elton, LA., he served in the U. S. Navy aboard the U.S.S.Baltimore during World War II, receiving an honorable discharge in 1944. Paul moved from Louisiana to Houston and was employed with Tasty Bread until going to work for what was then Dentler''s. Paul became a General Manager at Dentler''s – Facs in San Antonio and Houston. Wanting a change in career, he became a successful broker in real estate with Baxter and Swinford, opening new offices for them in Atascocita and Kingwood. He moved to Galveston in 1985. Moving to Brenham in 1997, he was soon growing his own grapes and making his own wine, as well as growing some of the best and hottest! peppers around. Paul was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Temple Lodge of Houston, achieving 32nd degree status. Survivors include his wife, Ada B. Fulton of Brenham; daughters Claire Rowan, Camille Fulton, Paula Storemski, all of Plano, Sharon DeSimoni and husband Andrea, and Robbie Brown and friend Gary Francis. Surviving grandchildren are Catherine Benson and friend Jerry Willis, Amy Storemski Knoles and husband Aaron, Joseph Perez and wife Jan, Larry Brown and John Brown. Also surviving is a great-grandchild, Crysta Benson. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Louise Benoit. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice Brazos Valley or to the First United Methodist Church. Funeral services for Paul Madison Fulton, Jr. are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main, Brenham.
