Paul Frederick Heidemann was born in Brenham on August 16, 1948, the son of Bernhard Louis and Margaret Gogolin Heideman, graduated Brenham High School 1966 and received his Bachelors Degree in Animal Science from Texas A & M University in 1970. He then went on to serve our country in the United States Air Force. In 1988 he followed his heart, which took him to Tampa, Florida and in 1995 his love for the country and Texas brought him back to Brenham. He was an avid sports fan and especially loyal to the Aggies. Paul was a hard working man, a great cook, and had a love for plants and animals. With his green thumb and entrepreneurial spirit, he became the proprietor of his own lawn service company. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Heideman of Grand Prairie, Texas; brother, Kenneth Heideman and sister-in-law, Rebekah Heideman of Richardson, Texas; three daughters, Alyssa Heidemann, Dawn Heidemann, and Heather J. Carr and son-in-law, David Carr all of Tampa, Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Heideman. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28 at St. Matthew s Lutheran Church of Sandy Hill with Pastor Jim Abbott officiating, with the burial to follow at St. Matthew s.
